Think about how you would finish this sentence: “When I was a kid…..”. Many of our answers may sound something like “I went out to play in the morning and didn’t come home until dinner”. The American Family has changed dramatically over the last few decades. Unfortunately there are growing numbers of children with diagnoses such as ADD or ADHD, we believe that a part of the problem is a lack of time playing and learning about the outdoor world around them. Although many parents know the benefits of spending time outdoors and connecting their child to a natural environment, they are often too stressed and overwhelmed to make that a regular part of their children’s daily lives. We want to help give every child the opportunity to have the childhood we had.
